Did you know that a man's sperm is still viable for some time after he DIES? Yes they often do take sperm from DEAD men for later implantation in their wives etc.... they call it..

posthumous sperm retreival ......

Would you ever consider doing this? I would if my husband died while I was still able to have children <3

I have heard of it but i have no plans of doing it. This is my last pregnancy, no matter what happens.

It depends. I'm not opposed to the concept.

I would never do it. He would be dead and unable to help me raise the child, so That would just be constantly hurtful to everyone involved I think.

If I was wanting another kid, I would just wait to meet the right person who could help me actually raise the child.

Possibly, but I seriously doubt that I would want any more children. I think it would not be fair to raise a child who would never know their father.

I'm not married so it doesn't matter. But, I'd think it would be awkward to explain to the kid later in life, moreso than adoption.
