Did they think no one would notice? Citgo, the oil company, has its corporate headquarters in Houston but is owned by the national oil company of Venezuela. Following the death of President Hugo Chavez on Tuesday, the company did the patriotic thing and lowered its flags to half-staff. Including the American flag. It is not a surprise that this has raised many an eyebrow in a country that Chavez regularly decried as an enemy of the Venezuelan people. "I told the person that answered the phone that if she had a problem with raising the flag back up that I could come down and do it for her," said one Texan. [Source]

Do you think it is appropiate to lower the Flag in Texas for Chavez?
