Kids older than two....What age to drink from glass glasses?

Posted by   + Show Post
I never allowed my kids to drink from glass glasses until they were way older. My son is 18, still will drink from a plastic one, sometimes he will use glass. My SS, NEVER. He is very accident prone so he knows to use plastic (tupperware). At what age do you let/think a kid can or should use glass for drinking? What age did you let your kids?

I'm 35 and prefer plastic! My kids are 3.5 and 16 months. They can both use open top cups/glasses just fine. But I usually give them plastic bc they are smaller. They can use glass whenever they want though.

My kids are 6, 8, and 10 and mostly use glass. I am trying to get rid of all plastic in our kitchen. Even their to-go water bottles are glass.

My boys are 6 and 5.5.  No real glass here yet.  Sometimes they will take sips from ours, but not on their own.  They are both flighty at times.

My kids are 8 and 4 and use glass everyday at meals. They use either 4 ounce juice glasses or the 8 ounce glasses. They have been using them forever.
