One step closer.... (Piog)

We are one step closer to attending DD#1's college graduation.

We all went down to Misrad Hapnim (the Office of Immigration) this morning and applied for our Teudat Ma'avars.  Which are the temporary Israeli Passports we will need to travel outside of Israel.  They should arrive in the mail next week. :-)

Once you have lived in Israel for 3 months, to travel outside of the country, you need a Teudat Ma'avar.  You cannot travel outside and return without one....but it is only a 'temporary' Passport.  You cannot get a permanent Israeli Passport until you have lived here for a full year....which isn't until September for us.

Anyway....I'm excited as this puts us one step closer to DD#1's graduation. :-)

I am!

She has worked her butt off in college.  She has actually kept such a full, and busy, class schedule that she is completing a 4 year degree in only 3 years.....and she did not take any summer classes!  She wasn't even doing it on purpose....when she went to sign up for her spring classes in the fall of her second year, hey told her that if she did a full course-load and all of the shows (she is a Theatre major) that she could graduated in only 3 more semesters!  So, she started her second year of college as a sophomore and completed the year as an outgoing junior.  Lol. :-)
