We are one step closer to attending DD#1's college graduation.
We all went down to Misrad Hapnim (the Office of Immigration) this morning and applied for our Teudat Ma'avars. Which are the temporary Israeli Passports we will need to travel outside of Israel. They should arrive in the mail next week. :-)
Once you have lived in Israel for 3 months, to travel outside of the country, you need a Teudat Ma'avar. You cannot travel outside and return without one....but it is only a 'temporary' Passport. You cannot get a permanent Israeli Passport until you have lived here for a full year....which isn't until September for us.
Anyway....I'm excited as this puts us one step closer to DD#1's graduation. :-)
