For one year I have been doing shift supervisor position in hopes to get into training for restaurant management. I like aspects of the job, but I am feeling horribly used. They have not sent me to actual management training, I don't get parking benefits, I took a paycut and i'm working more hours. I'm going to miss most of my kids baseball games. My hours suck. 11-8. That means I see my kids for the morning shuffle and kiss them goodnight, that's it. Now they want me to move to a different location and work appx 50+ hours a week doing a management job but workout the pay and bonuses of a real manager.
I miss my kids and my husband. I made more $$$ working less hours before and didn't have to bring my work home with me.
My question is, do I stick with it, or go back to bartending and serving and seeing my kids?
Sorry so long!!!
