Is your trim/molding the same color as your ceiling? I was thinking about painting the dining room a nice teal color and do the trim/molding throughout the house white. So would the ceilings be white too?

My crown molding is white and so are my ceilings. My walls are a neutral tan color.

My woodwork is all white, as is the ceiling.

But it doesn't HAVE to be.  I just prefer the look because my walls are all bold, in your face colors.

I wouldn't paint the ceiling. It will make the place feel smaller. We have white molding around our place with neutral colored walls and an accent wall

I like the look too. Even if it isn't bold colors. The white just pops. I was just trying to see if it was "okay" to do. Some websites said no while others said yes.

The ceiling HAS to be painted. It looks dingy.

Well if you're not supposed to, no one told me! hahaha.. I think it looks great!  And easier to touch up when both are the same color.
