Hey Y'all, my name is Tammy and I am from NC. I am 42 yrs old and have 3 girls (16,11,8) and a son thats 14 months old. I am a stay at home mom but considering going back to work. My question is when is a good time to start potty training my son? My girls were so easy to train at his age but my son seems to have no interest in learning so maybe I will try again when he is 18 months old.

I would wait until he gives you some cues. Boys seem to take a little longer to train Good luck :)

Hi Tammy! Welcome to the group.

As on of the other moms said, I would wait until he gives you cues. Once he starts to show interest is when I would start. Boys do typically take a little longer than girls as well.

Good luck!! From my experience boys will do it when they are ready and not a second sooner.

Welcome to CafeMom Tammy,
As others have said when he shows an interest & when he is a bit older as well.
Nice to meet you :)
