No we have a house. We dated over 6 years because i required a house! I wouldn't get married until we were financially stable. I also used double birth control before then too. House, cars, college educations. I told him not to bother asking till we had that.

We have a house but his mom lives with us after she went into organ failure. It is very hard to deal with her especially when she gets weird from her toxins rising. I have learned to just walk away.

Good. You do wisely. When we love others, we are
also loving his family. We can't be selfish :) I hope things
got better there.... ;)

We have never lived with either of our parents. We have always been independent adults. However, if there was ever a situation where my parents needed to live with us, they absolutely would be welcome to.

I moved to my own apartment when I turned 18. We married when I was 19 and he moved in with me for 6 months until we bought our house. So we have always lived independently. Both sets of parents are only in their 50's so it will be a long time before one might have to live with us, if ever. All of our living grandparents still live independently and they are all late 70's early 80's.
