Book Readers- advice needed

Please recommend a feel good book worth reading to a 90 year old woman that won't leave us both in tears. She doesn't read or really watch TV or do too much. She's in a nursing home right now; I don't know if she'll go home. We both already cry when we're together and I hate that. I don't know what do... I thought 'read her a book.'

At least bump for me so someone else may see...

Thank you.

Hmm, that's a tough one. Percy Jackson books are entertaining, and not sad. I can't think of any more adult books that fit the bill, sorry.

Look at some janet Evanovich books. They are hilarious books about a female bondsman.

How about cards or board games. My grandmother used to love to play scrabble and whist.

James Patterson ~~ Womans murder club series. They are numbered.

Beverly Lweis ~~ series about the Amish. I love them. Easy educational and romantic.

Do you know what her interests are in life?  I would look for either fiction or nonfiction books off her interests or yours.   Maybe do crafts as well together to keep minds busy.  Card games, board games are also fun.

I liked The Billionares Curse. It is a young adult book so it was an easy and quick read but it was good and suspenseful. What genre were you thinking of?
