Hi my name is Brandi. I just signed up today. I am just looking to meet new people and hopefully find helpful advice on many topics as they come about. My 9 year old son has Epilepsy and it is so hard to deal with it. We have tons of doctors appointments and constantly going out of town to specialists and when he has a grand-mal seizure it scares the life out of me. I would really like to connect with other moms who are going through the same thing.

Hi-

I went to junior high and high school with a girl who suffered from epilepsy. By the time I met her, her seizures were under control with meds. I can't imagine how scary it has to be for you and for him. (((HUGS)))

Hi and welcome to Cafemom! I have a son with autism and my girls we suspect to have autism also so I definitely understand having a special needs kid.
