I have been having sooo many issues with my female organs & such. I've always had very heavy periods that lasted 2wks. After my son was born (2nd child) sexbecame painful. I was in pain a lot & got the paraguard,as I'm not good at remembering pills & I like IUDs but Mirena made me gain 35lbs.

Fast forward I was having severe pain with extremely heavy bleeding so they did investigative surgery. They found my right Fallopian tube wrapped around my uterus & fused to the front with scar tissue, scar tissue connecting my bowel & stomach & wrapped around a few organs. They fixed that, but found endometriosis on both tubes & left it bcuz it could've left me infertile.

Around 8 days after surgery I started bleeding so heavy that I soaked through my pads & clothes in less than an our SITTING DOWN. Went back at 2wks & had a 5 1/2 cm cyst on my left ovary. They have me on byaz to stop the bleeding but in the past 3&he months I've stopped bleeding a total of 6 days, not consecutive. One minute it will be normal flow the next I'm pouring & bleeding on my clothes.

I miss having my own money but I can't work like this. I'm always washing & changing clothes, always so so tired & weak....& I try to keep up with the house but it gets messy on occasion (not dirty) & SO doesn't understand

I have never heard of anything like this. My thought would be to talk to the doctor of see about seeing a specialist. The other thing that I would do is research all that I could find out about it. Especially with being tired and how long that it has been going on. Plus when I say talk to the doctor, I mean I would not shut up until they gave me an answer that I could understand or something that is going to help the problem in the first place. I hope this helps.

You need a full hysterectomy. Period.

The dr was shocked with what she found in surgery, said she had never seen such a thing before. My SO says I'm not aggressive enough but I'm a timid person...I don't really know HOW to be aggressive

I'm so not medically educated but I'd go to a specialist tomorrow. Have you considered a hysterectomy?  That seems like it would alleviate some problems?  I know that's a huge decision though

I can't bring myself to even consider it. I want more children, at least one more. And at 23....I just don't want to do that. Plus everyone in my family who have had one gain a ton of weight.

1 mom liked this

My sister was like you. On her last pregnancy we almost lost her and we did loose the baby. You need to talk to your doctor about that. What you have is no joke. you could bleed to death. You need to have a long talk with your gyno.

Me personally, if I was bleeding like that (as several women in my family have), I'd get a hysterectomy.

Well, I think it is time--or you need to see a specialist.  But, from everything you have said you need a hysterectomy.

They haven't ever suggested a hysterectomy (two gynos) Or said that it would be dangerous to have another child. In fact, my dr didn't burn the endometriosis off my tubes bcuz I'm so young & it could cause me to be infertile
