Looking for advice about nanny, mother's helper, etc. We are moving to another state this summer & have decided we would rather have in home child care instead of using a center. Just fyi our children are 2,9,12 (by the end of summer)

How did you find your help?
How much do you pay? Hours?
Were you looking for a certain age?

My dh works in Robinson Twp, PA so we are looking at houses close to there. We've looked near Weirton, WV & Steubenville, OH

For someone who works for you regularly, you'll need to file tax forms and so forth. Probably the pay would be less than for someone you had in to sit for an evening. You should expect it to be more expensive than a day care. You'd likely provide meals for when the nanny was there. Decide if any light housekeeping is included or only cleaning up after the children and maybe doing their laundry. Decide if teaching is involved- helping with homework, teaching letters and numbers, reading, etc.
