We are having DS's b-day at a park next month. Other than water bottles we are trying to figure out the drinks. Can's or 2 liters and juice boxes or jugs.

I like the ideas of 2 liters/jugs because its cheaper. Also people can take as much or as little as they want and can write their names on cups. I have often noticed at parties people will take a can, set it down lose it and grab another. Or they just dont want a full can. So at the end of the party you have a bunch of 1/2 full cans of pop. Its so wasteful.

However can's/juice boxes are easier.

ETA- Ok when I say jug, I mean like a gallon jug that you would pour into cups.

What do you mean individual jugs? Do you mean like juice boxes? When I say jugs, I mean like a gallon jug.

Actually I thought you were talking about the little jugs of the Hugs juices.  I'm sorry for not clarifying lol

Juice boxes or pouches are really a great idea.....good thinking :)

I have found that 2 liter bottles and BIG jugs of juice go REALLY quickly and you run the risk of running out faster.  With cans and juice boxes or pouches that are portion controled....folks tend to make them last a bit longer :D

Good luck with your party and I hope you all have an awesome time!!

I would go for the individual cans/boxes/packets. Yes, it's wasteful, but I would figure I'd have enough to do without adding "drink wrangling" to the list.

i would do individual cans, juice boxes, waters etc..its just easier..and that way you can get different flavours..going with jugs youre stuck with one flavour.

I decided to do both. I found a variety 36 cans of pop at Costco.I found a variety pack of juice at Wal-Mart. Then I'm also grabbing a couple 2 liters of pop and lemonade.

We always get a gallon of juice, a gallon of fruit punch and bottles water.
