Has anyone else experienced this? We live in Ohio and every time the weather changes quickly my son gets a chronic dry cough that last about a week. Sometimes it will change into a cold after about 3 days but usually just the cough, lately it happens once a month or two. Ugh

Sounds like a post nasal drip cough. He probably has seasonal allergies.
The same thing happens around my house. A couple of days of allergy meds usually clears it up.

My son also does this sometimes. We plug in our humidifier in his bedroom at night and that seems to help a lot.
