You can tell I don't go on vacation and was very fortunate we could this year. We are staying at comfort inn and that's probably a nice hotel. When you go what do you pack for vacation? Any thing from home to make your stay in hotel more homey? To me 6 days is a long time and I'm bringing a separate bag for dirty clothes and clothes .Thanks dEBRA

If you are driving (and you have plenty of room to pack things) I like to take my own pillow and a very light blanket. But if your space is limited (flying, for example) then I wouldn't pack these. Otherwise I bring disinfectant wipes to give a wipe down to the remote, light and lamp swithes, faucet handles. Something very comfy to lounge around in. Small containers of basic meds such as painkillers, bandaids, sunblock, etc. Don't forget vitamins and prescription meds. Some snacks. charging cords for phones, etc.

I pack any medicines that I think I might need so I'm not running out in the middle of the night looking for something.
