What to do with the rings(divorced)?

So came across my old wedding set and promise ring from my ex husband. Any idea what one could do with them?? I don't like the idea of keeping them for the boys because to me it was a tainted marriage, and don't want to bring bad luck to them and their future. Know what I mean?!?

Any jeweler that's not a chain will for sure be able to appraise them and probably melt them down and design something new. Gold prices are ridiculous right now so you might get more than you think. My dh lost his ring and we had never had it reappraised. We hadn't been married very long but it had tripled in value so even though it was insured we can't afford to get same ring again.

I haven't been through a divorce, but my mother sold hers after her and my dad divorced and my cousin is saving hers for her daughters to have.

Good question!  I still have my sad looking set from my first marriage.  I don't know what to do with it but I don't come across them regularly as they are not in my jewelry box.  Sorry I'm of no help.

Sell them.  Or have them made into some other piece of jewelry for yourself.
