Seriously husband of mine

I texted him and told that I was going to make mac and cheese, baked tonight.

It's easy and simple, and doesn't require me to be up a lot.

He goes.

"I guess, but do we still have fries?"

Uhm yes, curly fries, but I'm not making nuggets and fries for dinner.

I do most of the cooking so you are getting baked mac and cheese.

What are you making to go with it? It's sounds better than frozen nuggets and fries. Ewww....

Nothing.

Normally I make my daughter have fruit.

But I haven't bought any lately. We haven't really had to go to the store.

And he works til 730, so by the time he gets home, it's 815-830 at night, so he is ready for quick dinner and shower and bed.

Well it takes just as long to make the mac and cheese as it does the other crap.

Maybe he wants something more than just Mac and cheese. Why not cook nuggets too?

3 moms liked this
I don't even understand what you're complaining about here. The fact that he wants fries too? Such a silly thing to whine about him for

Because he knows I don't cook two seperate meals in my house.

Just like when I make things that my daughter thinks she doesn't like, she has to try it.

And my husband eats mac and cheese.

And he is up at 7am, he could pull chicken or meat out if he didn't want mac and cheese and he didn't.

So go sit in a corner and cry.

I'm not making two seperate meals for anyone in this house.

The only time we are eating seperate things is if I'm too sick to cook.

He should have told me that he wanted fries or something else.

Do you make two seperate meals at your house?

I refuse to do that, i did that for four years, and it got tiring because I had to make sure Addison had something cooked and ready at the same time me and everyone else in the house were ready to eat.

And why is it funny?

Either eat what I make, or don't eat at all.

What time do you wake up? 7 really isn't that early. Sounds like you're just too lazy to fix a decent meal and now you're trying to blame it on him

Well, I wouldn't want to eat just mac & cheese. I make homemade mac & cheese but always with sides and at least 1 veggie
