Is it really going to take a full nine months for my body to get back to the way it was before pregnancy? (I know it will never be the same, but for the most part?)

That's a fair time to let your body recover from what its been through lol. I think it also depends on how much weight was gained. Saying our body will never b the same is false though. I'm actually in the best shape I've ever been in since having my kids. I take care of myself knowing they need me:)

For me...it's a fair estimate.

For my stick-figure sil, by her 6wk appointment you'd never know she had her 4th baby.

ya,just about right, but your body changes in diff. ways with each kid and takes longer with each one...

My youngest is 5 months old and I still have about 6 lbs to be pre baby but I need to tone like crazy.lol He is my 7th and final. Congrats on the baby..
