Well school broke off for summer
And my hubby could not get any time off

Saving grace he has every other weekend off and every other Wednesday
So not so bad I guess

Well until he called me today
One of the other engineers has just called in sick
Meaning he will have to cover all his shifts
No time off what so ever

O with two little girls This is going to be one long summer

I think the majority of couples 1 works all year round. I would  find fun things to do and try to make plans when he is off.

sorry I didnt read that corerectly. I understand it will be a long sumer. Can you make plans to take vacation after his colleague gets back to work?

That is how life goes.   I would be upset with the company if he is working 24/7 though.  I do not know what labor laws are in the UK whether they have to be given time off or not at certain times.
