Love your bed?

We are in serious need of a new bed but really have no idea where to start.

I have Fibromyalgia and my hips are what hurts the most.  We have tried a Select Comfort Sleep Number bed and HATED it.

So, what do you have?  Love it or hate it?  How long have you had it?  How much did it cost?

ETA~We won't be doing a Temperpedic.  I have had LOTS of people tell me they sleep warm and I am already a hot sleeper.  Plus we don't have the $$.

Oh I slept on a Sleep Number bed at a Ronald McDonald House and it was awful.  I wish I remembered what my last bed was...it was a pillow top and it was like a cloud...hurt my hips really badly.
I sleep with a pillow between my legs.  Got the idea when I was in nursing school and we did clinicals at a nursing home.  It helps a lot.  They also have those memory foam knee pillows.
The mattress that I have now is pretty cheap and I don't think it's a popular brand.  I'll go and look...hang on, lol....
Harmony Orthopedic mattress
It's quite firm.
I don't have any hip pain anymore.  The furniture store we got it from is out of business but maybe you could find a store to test it.  It only cost like $600 I think.  Cheaper than the last one I had that felt like a cloud and hurt my hips!
Good luck!

I love mine when I have no dogs or kids in it. We got ours from his uncle a few years ago.

I have a memory foam ( Not a temperpedic). I'm also a heat machine :-) but, I adore our bed. We got it for five hundred on clearance.

I haven't tried it, but I've seen people on here rave about the cool pillow. That might add some comfort. What I'm saying is I have headaches and occipital nerve pain. I have a contour pillow and a body pillow to add extra comfort. But I love my non temperpedic , clearance memory foam mattress. I don't feel any pain all night. I do still awaken with a headache every morning, but that's the car accident issue. Good luck!

We have a Sears brand something something pillow top...lol. Can't remember the entire name.

It kills my hips! I loved it when we first got it. But now, about 8 years later, it's still mushy, but painful after a few hours.

I don't know whether I'm too old for it or it's too old for me.
