I just became a foster parent to our Grandson because of parents drug abuse!

We want to get the Granddaughter also but the court gave guardianship to my husbands daughter and her Moms boyfriend. The Grandmother has passed away. The parent said they made a big mistake giving them guardianship and wants us to have her with her brother! Can it be done?

I'm not sure - I think you should talk to a lawyer. Good luck!

I am not sure, this is definitely something a family attorney could answer. You can try calling legal aid or child services to ask as well.

Good luck, I hope you are able to get your granddaughter too.

I am sure they have a reason, but I would think keeping them together would be best for them to deal with this. I would talk to a lawyer to see what your options oare. Good Luck!

I know out local court tries to keep siblings together if possible. I agree with the others and call an attorney.
