Tubes tied..question

I'm pregnant with #2.
DH and I are done having kids after this one and I want to get my tubes tied.
My question is ...I had 100% natural child birth with my son. No meds at all.
I would really like to do that again.
But how would they do the tube tying? I heard they usually do it before epideral wares off.
Any ideas? I don't really want to have to wait, would like it done after birth.

Have you looked into Essure. Its permant but you wont have to be under for them to do it. I had it done and loved it. I was affraid of having to go back in and have my tubes tied.

I did. But I had an IUD and my body rejected it...I'm nervous it would do the same thing to that.

Y do they put people under for getting them tied? I was awake for the whole boring process.

If you are breast feeding you can't have general anisthesia.

Oh. Hmm idk. That's just what my dr said.
Did you have epideral? Maybe you didn't have general anisthesia?

Ummmm...,. I had something that made me numb from boobs down. Not sure what is spinal what is epidural. I do know this was the first tine i had that one. BF with all 3 as soon as i got back to room after OR. First 2 was just numb belly area, this one was boobs down. (And no clue what general anesthesia is either)

General anesthesia is when they knock you out completely.

1 mom liked this
1) my tubal ligation was the worst mistake I've ever made.

2)I conceived and mc'd four mths after TL.

3) I suffer daily from PTLS. Research it.

4)my surgery took three hours, recovery was horrific, and I couldn't walk for two days.

5) I have an inch long scar under my naval.
