Just kidding. I get my school money tomorrow and besides getting implanon, it'll just sit there. Maybe I'll buy some new shoes.

What do you do with your school money?

Clarification: I do not take out loans. I get grants and scholarships. Tuition and books are paid for first and the rest of the money is direct deposited to me.

I always thought school money was supposed to be for school expenses, not shoes.

Well I don't think they let you go to class barefoot.

Isn't financial aid for school only? If you're spending it on other things how will you pay for tuition and books?

You seem to imply that she is currently barefoot and has no shoes at all.

besides which most colleges really don't care what you wear to class as long as you wear something... I've seen lots of people show up barefoot and in pjs

When I was going to school, I paid for classes, books and used it to help offset the drop in income from going from fifty five hours a week down to forty and carrying a full load.  I have multiple degrees that are useless now that I am unable to work.  Fortunately, we have paid back my school loans....
