I lost my belly fat by doing Pilates, it tones your muscles really good. I also walk briskly about three days a week (two miles).
Some women never lose their belly pouch, others do. I lost my belly fat with my first two but this time, it's hanging around.

You could also try wearing a body shaper or girdle to help train your stomach to get back down to its original size on top of doing exercises.
