I know we are limited on time... crock pot saves me.  DH and I both work Full time.

SD has swim practice @ school from 5:45AM-7AM then in the afternoon from 4-6 which we have to pick her up from accross town.  This is Mon-Fri some Sats

DS has swim on Tuesday

DD has gymnastics on Mondays

So time is limited! LOL here is my fav "go to" rec

2-3 chicken breast

taco seasoning

cilantro

salso

Add all in the crock pot and cook all day serve with tortillas.  Yum.  If you have another CP I throw in a bag of beans, with cilantra, can of tomatoes, salt, peper, onion, lots of garlic and cook on high all day.  Great full meal.

Whats yours?

My favorite is talipia and asparagus
1 bundle asparagus,4-6 tilapia filets, 8-12 tablespoons of lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning,1/2 tablespoon butter for each filet, and foil. you will need one piece of foil for each one. Dividing asparagus out into equal amounts per filet. Lay 1 fish in foil add tablespoon of lemon juice, butter, and lemon pepper. Top with asparagus and wrap up. Do this with each individual filet. Put in crockpot cook on high 2 hours ifthawed and 3 hours if frozen. (i don't measure out the lemon pepper, butter,or seasoning i just kinda guess)

Pork or beef loin roast with root beer to cover, cook on low for 7 hours, drain the root beer, remove fat and shred the meat. Then, put it back in the pot with your favorite BBQ sauce for 30 minutes, yum!

I made this last night!  And it was SO GOOD!!

Crock Pot Honey Sesame Chicken

2.5 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thighs would be fine too)
Salt and pepper
1 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 tablespoons diced onion
4 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoon canola oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
4 teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in 6 Tablespoons water
Sesame seeds

Season both sides of chicken with lightly with salt and pepper, put into crock pot. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, onion, ketchup, oil, garlic and pepper flakes. Pour over chicken.
Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 hours, or just until chicken is cooked through.
Remove chicken from crock pot, leave sauce. Dissolve 4 teaspoons of cornstarch in 6 tablespoons of water and pour into crock pot. Stir to combine with sauce.
Replace lid and cook sauce on high for ten more minutes or until slightly thickened.
Cut chicken into bite size pieces, then return to pot and toss with sauce before serving.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over rice or noodles.

1 mom liked this
Crock pot cobbler.

Put your favourite fruit/pie filling in.

Pour a yellow cake mix over it

And sit stick of butter on it.

Cook on medium for 2 hours
