My husband made a pit stop at my parents after dropping me to work this morning. My mom asked him to run an errand while she kept our 12-week old. However, they did not have a bottle at the house to give the baby the bag of milk I had in their freezer. So....my dad improvised.
Apparently the duct tape wasn't tight enough, so they used my dad's casino lanyard to tighten it up. Great to know my kids are in good hands!
For the inquiring minds: The baby stays with the grandparents on the rare days where DH and my work days overlap. We live three miles from my parents house. I usually take bottles over there with a bottle cap and/or bags of breastmilk depending on how I stored my milk at the time. I leave the bottle nipples over there, as well as an emergency stash of milk for use when the baby is there. Being that hubby just wanted to let my parents see the baby on his way home from dropping me off and hadn't planned on being a lengthy visit, he just didn't bring the bottles.
