Four and a half months ago my husband's blood sugar crossed the line and he was considered diabetic. That really got our attention and gave us the motivation we needed to start dieting. This afternoon we saw our doctor and my husband has lost over fifty pounds and his blood sugar and cholesterol are back in the normal range and he is officially no longer considered diabetic.
I also have lost a substantial amount of weight although I don't know exactly how much. Of course despite the fact that I am eating less than my husband I am not shedding the weight as quickly...thanks evolution! Nonetheless I am very proud of us both.
