sexist standards for our children

I have a friend that holds her son and daughter to so many different standard It really bothers me. Her son is older by three years to his sister both are teens though and she makes her daughter do so much more then she ever expected her son to do like make beds, dishes, clean bathrooms and cook his own meals in this day and age men do these things and much more I think she is doing a disservice to him and his future mates and children by raising him this way but she thinks I'm wrong because he is "just a boy" but I told her boys grow into men and don't no woman want a lazy ass man that can't even clean a tub or fix his own sandwich. What are your thoughts???

I think both should be taught how to be self sufficient in their own right.

They should be taught the same life skills.  No woman wants a husband who can not cook, clean, take care of house as her equal partner.  As well as her daughter should be taught how to change oil, use hammer, and other "boy/men" skills so that when she is an adult she will not have to rely on a man to do anything.
