Feeling ovulation? PIOG

Have you ever felt yourself ovulate? I'm off my BC this month and I swear I felt myself ovulate. Like a pinching in my ovary area. It lasted a day and went away. Hmmm....Wondering if that's normal? I've been on BC since July of 2012. Never missed a day. Taking LoEstrin Fe. Now I've been off of it only this month and already ovulating? hm....

I took birth control for 2.5 years, and got pregnant the first month I was off it :)
The pill doesn't prevent ovulation- it makes it difficult for sperm to get to the egg, and in case that doesn't work, makes it difficult for a fertilized egg to implant.
As for feeling ovulation- some do, some don't :) once I started paying attention, I found that I always feel off the day before and have mild cramping the day off.

Yes I had ovulation pain and sometimes it's mild while other times it's very painful.

Yep. My ovulation cramps are actually more intense than my period cramps.

Mine too. I can feel what side is releasing that month and I have a sharp cramping from anywhere from 10 minutes-1 hour

Me too. But I have cysts that make it obvious to me when I ovulate.
