I don't know if I'm pregnant yet, I am showing signs and I constantly have the hiccups... Has anyone else have these during very early pregnancy?! I've never heard of this being a sign but I have the hiccups several times a day now.

Never heard of it being a sign of pregnancy, but if you want to get rid of them, try eating a teaspoon of sugar. I've been told it works by irritating your diaphragm. Thorazine works too, but that's a little drastic, lol.

The hiccups suck. I get them all the time. None of the tricks work for me. But I try to take a few deep breaths & drink ice water. Sometimes that helps.

Are you still hiccuping?  I always heard a tsp of sugar can help.

I got indigestion quite frequently in the early days of my pregnancies and that often resulted in hiccups, but peanut butter always worked. You get a tablespoon out, fill it with a heap of peanut butter, and put the whole amout in your mouth. Something about how you have to work to eat the peaut butter that way can stop the hiccups.
