I used a king sized pillow--a really high quality one. It was perfect.

IDK specifically what you're talking about. I tried to sleep with a pillow between my knees when I was pregnant, but it wasn't comfortable. Is that what you mean?

I just used a body pillow, no special maternity pillows.

My maternity pillow was helpful for awhile. Toward the end of the third trimester I used various pillows. One between my knees, one under my belly and one up by my arms. Probably don't need to spend the money on one labeled a maternity pillow.
