Just feeling out of sort, it is rare that my son goes with Dad for extended amount of time. Made a decision to get connected, new to site. Looking forward to sharing info and getting some advice from others that can relate to single parenting.

When my kids went to their dad's back in July, I felt so lonely!  It's hard when you're used to them being there all the time.

You should check out the Single Moms group.  I love it there.

Welcome to CafeMom! This is a fun place to be.  I have found that after a while I get used to an empty nest, although it is great when my adult kids stop in .

How are you doing?

im an attached parent, i nearly cry when i drop them off at school. my life is my children, they make me happy, so a day without them is very painful.
