How much do u pay for rent? Where do u live? How big is your house or apartment?
We live in a suburb of Boston. We rent a 2-bed (but one of the bedrooms is TINY), 1.5 bath apartment. We pay $1,310 a month and that includes utilities.
That's a good deal around here.
We pay $1310, and that includes utilities, for our 2-bed, 1.5 bath, but we're all the way up in the Merrimack Valley. Almost to New Hampshire. That's the tradeoff--we used to live in Medford but we were paying $1,600/month for a 2-bed, 1-bath, plus utitlities, and it was oil heat so our heating bills in winter were often $500.
Quoting iMadGen:Apparently I live in the wrong state. We pay $1125 for a TINY 2 bed 1 bath apartment in Boston. We are looking to move into a 3 bedroom but even the rundown ones start at $1300 for no more than 1100 sq ft. Usually no utilities are included either. Sigh....
I live in the suburbs of Chicago and we rent a three bedroom house with a studio in the basement for $1500 a month. It is a good sized house and yard and my parents live in the studio. They have a good sized room and their own bathroom. It is blue collar and out neighbors are really cool.
when i rented, NYC $3,500 for an 800sft studio apt.
