can u make spaghetti with just noodles and a can of tomato sauce?? spaghetti is usually a huge process for me with lots of ingrediants and homemeade sauce. right now i have nothing i would normally make it with except 1 can of tomato sauce and noodles....oh and of course a bunch of spices. im preggo n really craving it. would you make it or do you think it would be nasty??? how would you go about it??

I've done it before. I prefer it meatless or with shrimp.

Yes I would put the sauce in a sauce pan and season it to taste and add it to your pasta.

 sure, just throw in some garlic, basil, salt, and a bit of sugar and it should be fine.  I prefer to add diced tomatoes... but yeah, you can just used tomato sauce.

stew fresh tomatoes until soft then throw in a blender to make the "sauce" is the start

 OP, she is right it will be thin if you don't have time to let the sauce reduce.. however, a nice little trick that works and doesn't change the flavor is to add a bit of corn starch or flour to thicken it just like you would soup.

It should still be good. I've done it! lol Just season it and make it a little thick if you can.
