All these Halloween movies on...my 6 year old loves them. Today he begged me to rent Curse of Chucky.
He never gets scared or nightmares or anything.
I've let him watch any that are on tv because I know they can't be SUPER gory or sexual because it's on tv. But I don't think I can go as far as Chucky movies =\

What's your opinion on horror/scary movies?
OPINIONS please...which everyone can have different ones.

=)

My DD watches the older scary movies. They don't need to have as much sex and swearing as the newer ones do. I've also taken her to horror conventions where she has met numerous celebs out of character from horror movies.

DS (18 months) & I watched the curse of chucky last night. It wasn't sexual. Ds and I both got scared so i turned out off until he fell asleep.
When i was 3 my favorite movie was Halloween. I don't mind DS watching them at all but off i notice he is getting scared we put on Disney.

Also I really don't mind some of the chucky movies. Just not seed of chucky. And we are Freddy fans anyway!

My DS is 7 and supppper sensitive. Like, he sees a commercial for a tv show and he gets scared. So for him no. It's definitely a child to child situation.

Yeah most of the ones on tv lately are older ones.

No because my son that's almost seven is sensitive to those types of movies. He is afraid of the Terminator.
