Medical experts seem unsure about this, is there anyone who has had her period while pregnant?

You can bleed during pregnancy, but it is not your period.

i have heard of people having some spotting or bleeding but never an actual period. its not a good sign if your having that happen though.

It's not a period a period is the uterine wall shedding along with the egg. You can bleed but by definition it is not menses or a period.

So I guess we confuse the bleeding with the normal period

rarely the cervix doesn't close completely which allows asome bleeding... very rarely it has even been known for a second pregnancy to occur resulting in "twins" that are not the same gestational age... though it is extremely rare.
