The stuff that comes out of our kids' mouths

Posted by   + Show Post
Last night we were having a family board game night. Well my ds (just turned 7 last week) was sitting with my mom and he turns to her and very loudly asks, "Grandma, why do your arms have flab and mine only muscles?" Being the kind if family we are it didn't hurt feelings, just made everyone laugh, but man kids come up with great stuff. My mom's response was that she didn't get much exercise at her work desk all day, and sure didn't so the amount of pushups to build muscles that he does every week between karate class and football practice for not following directions. What something has your child said that makes you just wanna shake your head?

My daughter, 7, came home with a 2 from school. Aka a pretty bad day. This was our convo:

Dd: can I play outside?
Me: what did you get today?
Dd: 2
Me: what do you think?
Dd: That's not fair! Now I'll NEVER get to see the sun!

My youngest (3)has a habit of walking up to groups of teenage girls and says" hey girls what you doing?" it's hilarious.
My 16 yo son asked me the other night to do something about my grey hairs. He was millimeters away from being popped in the mouth- dang kid runs fast lol

We have to keep secrets from DS (who is 7 1/2) because he can't keep anything to himself. He can't shop for gifts with us because he'll share it and he means no harm but he's shared a few surprises. If you want people to find something out indirectly, you can tell my son and he'll do the job for you!

That is funny, my son is the same way! Last Christmas he was sitting with his dad who was browsing the web and he pointed to a golf club and said "Look dad that is what mom and I bouhgt you for Christmas yesterday!" Gotta love em!

I was babysitting a little girl who's 2 years old. I was 15.
I had a pimple.
She pointed to it and called it a "pink bubble".

lmfao.

I was like, "Don't worry honey, one day you'll have pink bubbles too."
