I made cake pop filling, a mixture of devils food cake and buttercream frosting. I melted pink candy melts and coated the inside of a brain shaped silicone ice cube tray, filled it with the cake pop filling, then coated it with the candy.

Thanks, they are really hard to get out of the mold though. I am having about a 50/50 success failure rate at getting them out without breaking them.

Can you use a little bit of oil to make it easier to get out?

The fact that you said you were making brains for a class made me laugh a little. ^_^

They look amazing! I'd love to be able to do something like this.
