My 9 mo old had his check up and his weight....

Is down! A little less than a pound. He BF ( every 2 hrs) and I feed him 3 meals a day. The doctor ordered blood work ( hemoglobin, glucose, thiroid, ESR. The doctor has me so worried!

He is 2' 3.5" 18 lb 2 oz head 44.8 cm

Now we just wait for the results :(

Huh. Is your milk supply running low? That's what happened to me. :(

He's running all those tests with him having lost just less than a pound?! Is there something else going on aside from the tiny weight loss? It's pretty common at this age/stage to lose or stop gaining due to becoming more active.I don't see any need to worry unless,like I asked,there's something else going on as well.

Are you nursing before offering solids? If not, that can help. But being very active might be contributing also. Gl!

I hope everything turns out ok.

But my 14 month old is only 19lbs. 12oz. so your 9 month old doesn't seem that tiny to me.

this is what i thought! He has just started really crawling in the last few weeks. I told him that and he said its not from that.

I know. I'm confused. He is in 18 mo clothing.
