Traditional shephards(sp) pie has lamb.  I learned that a while back.

Those meals sound pretty yummy..I make a lot of dinners that include either meat or fish, veggies, fruit salad, cesear salad, soup, sandwiches, pasta, rice, macaroni & cheese,on occasion i'll do hot dogs with chips or something fun like breakfast for dinner,I go grocery shopping every weekend so I just buy stuff to make dinners with for a week & stuff for my kids school lunches, snack foods, etc, etc, during the week my children have easy breakfasts, cold cereal,a bagel,a peanut butter sandwich,it's all they have time for usually and gasp my son will have a pop tart once in a while, sometimes on the weekends I cook a nice breakfaast..Sorry for babbling on,sometimes I get chatty.

1 mom liked this

OAMC is not my thing.  I tried it a couple of times and it's just exhausting.  Not to mention, I did not want to cook for almost a week afterward.  LOL

I do make double batches of things like pot pies, lasagna, etc- so I can freeze half.

All of that is in the past though.  I am going to pre-prep (not pre-cook) some crockpot meals (about 10) and then freeze them and we are going to crockpot it for a couple of weeks, while I am in training for this new job.  The hours are 2-8pm and even though I will be home, I will be working, so the crockpot it is.
