I have a 9 year old and 2 7year olds.

I just thought it is also good for dieting. Because it lets you really look at the foods you are preparing.

Yes.
I look through our "already "have stuff on Thursday and go through the new flyers (they come on Thursday) my kids and I sit down and we meal plan for the following week coming.

We also make 1 new dish a week as well. Lol

Sundays after shopping we pre-cut fruits and veggies and prep other meals school lunches and snacks for the week. Lol

I have too! I have 5 kids who ask "What's for dinner" the second I walk in the door! So if I make up a menu then the kids know what to expect! And often I can text the oldest & ask him to get things started for me. Especially if it's going to take a while to cook.

I do a menu up for at least 1 week at a time. Depends really on when I plan on grocery shopping again. But I post it on my fridge. And I base my grocery list off it.

I usually pick the meals. However I do ask them if they wanna try something or if they want something special. But I try to do it a week before the start if the month so I can change it up if I need to.

how could you not? What the heck else do you do? Just buy.... whatever? Spend ridiculous amounts of money grabbing whatever you want off the shelves... then come dinner time send DH to the store for missing ingredients?

I don't even understand another way to do it.
