If your bestfriend cheated on her husband and now feels really bad about it and has worked through the issues in herself that were at the root of the affair, would you encourage her to tell her husband what she did,or move on and vow to never ever do it again? I know we can be hard on each other here, but Im saying imagine this is your bestfriend telling you this...not some stranger. If your bestfriend "would never do that" then use your imagination for a second...what advice would you give her?

Keep it to herself. Take that shit to her grave.

Stay out of it all together! Her marriage, her conscious.

I would never tell. She's the one who lives with the guilt

Tell her to do what she thinks is best, it's her life and her relationship she is the one who has to live with herself. I will remain her friend no matter what she choses. Though, I might call her a dumb ass.

The original question was: would I encourage her to tell her husband? Nope. Not your business. Leave it alone. Why put HIM through that? She is the guilty one and needs to live with it.
