I finally figured my faith out

I was raised Christian and hate it, I never believed in a god from a book written by man.

I never felt connected to a god that demands you believe in a story about a son but yet says you have free will and that's good

So finally I get it, I believe in the unknown, I am open to all, when I die IF there is an after life I will tell whatever is there that I am open to all and willing to accept what it is once there.

No all knowing god/being will deny my right to ever lasting happiness based on my failure to follow what some book, written by somw guys years before my time.

So that's me, I am so content and fulfilled knowing that I DON'T KNOW and I'll learn once the time comes. Till then I'll be good to others love my family, care for my self and respect those that deserve it

I couldn't be happier and just wanted to share

:) that's exactly where I am :) I was raised Roman Catholic, and my brother went full fledged shove it down everyone's throat baptist... Live and let live. Don't hurt others help who you can and be a great person. My husband is Hindu. Hinduism is very close to what I feel and believe. I do meditate and don't eat beef out if respect of my husbands belief. I consider myself Hindu because my better half is but who needs labels?

Totally I'll have to look into the Hindu beliefs, I've now made the choice to spend my life just learning more about all faiths
