Well of course I went to the doctor. But she said its normal in pregnancy but didn't explain what I could do to help it.

1 mom liked this
I have vericose veins that only flare up when I'm pregnant that makes me swell like that. Compression hose if you're on your feet a lot, a belly band to help hold the weight and put your feet up as much as possible. Very normal.

You should be more clear in your OP.  I see that you are new but usually you give all the info in your post like that you are pregnant or what a doctor said.

There isnt anything you can do.  It shouldnt last the whole time.  I have a newborn and there was some swelling during pregnancy

Never mind, ignore my advice. If sex is causing it to swell and that's it, I've got nothing.

I was actually going to ask you that very question. To be honest it's happened to me before numerous times and its nothing serious and will go down. I've asked the dr about it before and was told its normal and happens to women sometimes. For me it usually just means we had fun and maybe a bit rough

They recommended witch hazel on a cotton pad for my epiiotomy/sutures swelling. I don't think you're supposed to use it internally though.
