What do they do to keep themselves occupied while you get a few extra Zzzs?

We all just woke up at 11;45  LOL.  Missed about 5 calls from telemarketers.

Quoting amonkeymom:

Nice!  My teenagers sleeps in as well.  In fact, I just woke her up at noon.

Quoting frndlyfn:

She typically sleeps in as well.   Then if we are not up yet, she wakes daddy up to keep her company in living room.

1 mom liked this

There's no them "letting" me, they don't control the shots in our house. I have an infant daughter so for her there's no controlling when she wakes up, but for my son he knows not to leave his bed before 7 on weekends.

My kids are old enough to get their own breakfast and entertain themselves for as long as they need - they can read, play, etc. They have no reason to wake us on Sat when they get up...though we don't sleep in because services start around 9:00.

On holidays and s hook breaks, they let us sleep in.
