Do your kids let you sleep in on the weekend?

What do they do to keep themselves occupied while you get a few extra Zzzs?

Yup, well kinda, my bf works weekends so he gets dd her breakfast before he leaves in the am then she plays or watches TV for a while. Ds wakes up every 3-4 hours, nurses, then crashes back out. Some days he stays awake longer, some days he doesn't until the afternoon. Depends on him. He's only 3 weeks so

I can't sleep in, regardless. I'm too hardwired to waking up at 3am for work.

Normally I'm the very first one up, and I'm waiting for my daughter to wake up! Sometimes I'd wish she would wake up earlier! I just love getting up in the mornings and waking with the sun! And I LOVE the burst of energy I get when waking in the early hours!

Our 8 yr old is usually the 'early riser' at about 7:30. He goes into the living room and reads or plays quietly in the sun room until we get up. Usually DH and I don't get up much later, but sometimes sleep until8:30. We generally get to wake the teens around 10:30/11.

Watched tv or plays video games in his room. Usually he'll let me sleep until 9/930 & then wake me up for breakfast.

We co sleep with our 18 month old, so we put Bubble Guppies on the tv, grab a little baggie of Cheerios and a sippy cup of milk and let him chill while we get another half hour or so of sleep.

We're a family of heavy sleepers, I'm somewhat convinced it's genetic. My mother says that from almost day one, I was an extremely good sleeper and hated being disturbed earlier than I thought needed.
