How to Make Seahawks Jello Shots

It's game day, baby! Woo-hoo! What does that mean? It means it's time for SEAHAWKS JELLO SHOTS! It's a little time consuming, but super easy and super cool. Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients:
3 oz Berry Blue Jello
3 oz Lime Jello
2 Packets Knox Gelatine
2-1/2 cups Vodka
2-1/2 cups Boiling Water
1 cup Pina Colada Mixer (such as Mr. and Mrs. T's)
5-10 drops of Blue Food Coloring (optional, but makes to colors darker like Hawks Colors)
5-10 drops of Green Food Coloring (optional, but makes to colors darker like Hawks Colors)
25-28 Jello Shot Cups/Lids

Yield: 25-28 Jello Shots
Time to Make: about 3-1/2 hours (includes time for Jello to set up)

Directions:
 - Chill your vodka and pina colada mix. Set Jello Shot Cups on a cookie sheet for easy transport.

First Layer
 - Following the Blue and Green Layer directions below, make blue layer first and chill for approximately 1 hour (or until set).

The right cup is pulling the blue up through the white layer

 - After set, follow the White Layer directions below and pour on top of the blue. Chill for approximately one hour (or until set). If the white layer starts to 'pull' the blue layer up into it (see photo to right) don't worry. You won't really see it in the end product.

 - After set, follow the Blue and Green Layer directions below, make the green layer and pour on top of the white. Chill for approximately 1 hour (or until set).

 -  Put lids on top of cups and enjoy within 24-48 hours.

For the Blue and Green Layers:
In a microwave safe container, heat 1 cup water for three minutes (or until almost
Mixing the Blue Layer
boiling) in microwave. Pour 3 ounces Jello in hot water, stirring until  fully dissolved (about 1 minute). Add 5 - 10 drops food coloring (green food coloring in Lime Jello and blue food coloring in Berry Blue Jello) to water. Stir in 1 cup chilled Vodka. Pour an even amount into each jello cup. Follow directions above.

For the White Layer:
Pouring the white layer
They look a little green in the photo, but they are green, white, and blue!
In a microwave safe container, heat 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup vodka for three minutes (or until almost boiling) in microwave. Carefully and slowly (it will boil over if you don't pour slow!) pour 2 packets Knox Gelatine in hot water, stirring until  fully dissolved (about 1 minute). Add 1 cup chilled pina colada mixer. Pour an even amount into each jello cup. Follow directions above.

I am not a sports fan nor a drinker   LOL.  I am trying to figure out if these would work with a non alcoholic twist.

They do! I make non alcoholic ones for every holiday, for the kids that come to dinner. I use the 9 oz clear plastic cups for the kids. So it never gets confusing if I happen to serve both at a party.

My bil makes rainbow jello shots!!! They look sooooo freakin cute/AMAZING!!! I wish I still had pics. He makes tons of them during Gay Pride and sells them, I was surprised he amoun of ppl that wanted to buy them, and how much he got paid for making them!!! He started a few years back an since then every year theres certain ppl that literally go looking for him during pride trying o find him. He second year he almost didn't make them as he just did it as a un type of thing but when he realised all the demand he qickly ran out and made a ton up, lol. I ish I had pics of them on this phone but its a new phone and none of he pics on it. I'll hav to ask him o send me pics of them.

Oops just noticed you put the 3 1/2 hr time frame. Answers my question, sorry for asking, shoulda read it all :\

Water and juice. I make it with 3/4 of the liquid required by the packaging. The six oz box total liquid would be 3 cups. The three oz box total liquid would be 1.5 cups.

The Broncos colors....I am not a true broncos fan, I have been a colts fan since birth.  But I love Peyton, and will always have to support the team he is on (though I really hope he pulls a fred taylor and plays one game with the colts....then retires when the time comes) unless hes playing the colts....then I have to root for them. :)
