I am the mother of 3.  My oldest son is 23 ( due to be 24 in a few weeks), my daughter is 22 and my youngest son is 8.  Married to a great husband and wonderful father.  Time to myself is usually spent doing a morning workout or if I'm lucky, a nice relaxing bath in the evening.

Hi! My name is Darcy.  I have three kids, one boy who is 9, one girl who is 7 almost 8 , and another daughter who is 4 weeks.  I have been married a year and a half.  My husband is not my older kids dad, but he is a wonderful step dad.  We also have two mini doxies.  Our life is a little hectic, but that's how I like it.

Quoting Kindra16: Good evening everyone. My name is Kindra, I am 33 and have two beautiful girls. I raised them on my own (kind of, I have an amazing family that helps me out a ton) until 3 years ago when Curt and I started seeing each other. Until he came along I didn't allow any guys around my kids. .. You just never know these days. I work as a correctional Officer at a prison where I have been employed for 14 years. I am a volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT for our local department. I am I the process of moving. My favorite things to do is making memories with my wonderful girls.

My oldest moved back home this past fall after a year of living with is wife.  The marriage didn't work out.   My daughter is no longer living at home, she lives with her fiancee and has been on her own for about 2 1/2 years now.  My youngest keep us busy with cub scouts, basketball, soccer and T-ball.

HI There i have a 7 yr old son on the spectrum. He is classes as a high funsctioning child. I am still learning a lot about my sons struggles & strengths & how i can help him. The main thing i struggle with is not having anyone i know going through anything similar to talk about this with. I live in Victoria, Australia in a rural area. I have been a single mum for about 5 years now and sometimes i feel like my life is so overwhelming i do have my own little breakdowns every now and then.

When i have time to myself i like to socialise, read, paint, or watch movies, i would love to play tennis agian one day but i cannot commit that sort of time at the moment.

one of the things i am finding the hardest at the moment is probably something many others sturggle with....disginguishing between behaviours due to your child's special needs or their personal beahviour. discipline is very hard to to, working out what is best when i am unsure if his reactions and behaviours are just that of a common boy or his special way of interpreting and reacting....everything seems so overhwelming, i just got a report from my son's OT today and it's hard to take all the info in regarding physcial problems ( coordination etc) and sensory issues in pretty much all departments....i hope i can find some support here and also support others. I want to learn everything i possibly can and i feel that speaking with mum's of experience may be on ehte best ways to learn & understand my son!

xx
