Anyone heard of this before? *Update & edited length

2/14 Today I took my boys to the doctor. Tyler has Alopecia areata. It's a bald spot he had one last yer also, there is nothing to do for it except wait for it to grow back. With Jackson, I asked about Kohler's disease. His new doctor agreed, he has many of the symptoms. She also noted that he has flat feet(totally common in a 3yo) and Hyper-mobility. "double jointed"

So off we went to get x-rays of his feet.  He was not happy but we got it done, and they said they would call me with the results. His doctor just called and the heel bone in both of his feet are pointed the wrong way! She has never heard of this before and both radiologists were surprised. So now we get to go to 2 specialists, at least one of them is an hour drive. An Orthopedist and a Geneticist, hopefully they will have some insight.  Has anyone ever heard of this before? I can not find any thing online.

*Update: The Clinic called, they are going to have him see a podiatrist at our regular Clinic on Thursday. (So, no hour long drive. Yay.) Hopefully he will have some insight for us.

No, I've never heard of that before. Can the doctor give you info on it?

I have never heard of that! On the other note, I took my 5 year old to dr for a missing eyebrow out of no where. They told me hers is alopecia as well.

Missing eyebrow! That had to be a bit of a shock.

A calcaneus deformity? I have indeed heard of those. There are many different types and from what I know most can be either lived with or corrected with surgery.

Yes! Especially because it seemed to happen overnight and we hadn't even been the first to notice. Someone pointed it out at a family get together. It is still missing :(

DD's hair started falling out at age 8, eyebrows, eye lashes, hair on her head. It was her thyroid. Have it checked.

That is exactly what I thought it might be after researching! When I took her they said lets not go that route yet because of her age but maybe in the future! I thought that was a little odd! I am going to insist on it now. What did they do? Did it work?
