We aren't snowed in, but it is too icy to go anywhere.

Mine are grown. When they were young and we were snowed in we baked, built forts, had lots of contests (who can build the highest block tower, who can do the obstacle course the fastest( i would set on up), play board games, clean closets, deep clean and organize their bedrooms, invite kids in walking distance to come for a few days.

Puzzles sound good. Maybe I should get out a puzzle.

Games, puzzles, crafts, coloring, reading, playing with blocks, balls, little people, etc. I have a daily schedule for my daughter that helps me make sure I cover certain learning areas. You can see it on my blog at http://classysupermomintraining.wordpress.com/. It might give you more ideas.

These are good ideas.  One of my favorites was building forts with card tables, chairs, sheets, :)
